Ride-Apps (TNC)

A Ride-App service, also referred to as a Transportation Network Provider (TNP) is a transportation service that matches passengers with vehicles via websites and mobile apps. Ontario Airport’s authorized TNC partner is Lyft.

Ride App Drop-Off Location

Passengers arriving at the airport via a ride app service will be dropped off at their dropped off at their appropriate terminal.  

Ride App Pick-Up Location 

Once you’ve claimed your baggage, use the Lyft mobile app to request a ride. Follow the ‘Ride-Share Pick Up Location” signs, which are located at every passenger terminal. Then, exit the terminal and head left near the start of the curb to the designated Ride-Share Pick Up Location.

Ride Share Cost Estimates 

Ride-app companies rates vary depending on your destination, time of day, and anticipated traffic. To help you plan your trip, we’ve estimated prices to 3 popular destinations: 

• To downtown Ontario: $12-15 
• To Riverside: $28-32 
• To Los Angeles: $60-70 

Helpful Tips For Ride-App Passengers: 

• Wait to request your ride until after you’ve claimed your luggage at baggage claim 
• Ride app drivers are not allowed to solicit customers. Payment is made only through the mobile app 
• Ride-app services can only be requested through the provider’s mobile app 
• Before entering the vehicle, verify that the license plate number, car make and model, and driver name match the information in the app

Taxis

Taxicabs are a convenient transportation option for both getting to and leaving Ontario Airport. Fares to various destinations are based on the taxi’s meter, and pricing depends on the length and timing of your ride (for example, during peak hours, the meter rate may be higher). 

Taxi Pick-Up 

Taxis are available at the taxi ranks in front of every terminal. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available at each rank, you will find them to the far right of the curb when you exit the terminal

Taxi Drop-Off 

Passengers arriving at ONT via taxi cab will be dropped off at their appropriate terminal.

Helpful Tips For Taxicab Passengers: 

• Tipping is customary 
• Taxi drivers can’t solicit customers inside the terminal. To obtain a licensed and insured taxicab driver, proceed to the taxi ranks in front of every terminal.

Limousines

Many limousine operators provide transportation to and from ONT. 

Arriving At ONT 

Passengers arriving at ONT via limousine will be dropped off at their appropriate terminal. Please note, advanced reservations are required for limousine trips to ONT. Please contact the limousine operator directly to arrange service.  

Departing ONT 

If you’ve arranged for luxury limousine transport, call them to check-in and proceed to their designated pick-up location.
